Accounting Courses


This is a professional program that is tailored for both experienced and newly appointed or about to be appointed accountants. Surprisingly the profession has been in demand where persons majoring in other disciplines are enrolling for the course due to its competitiveness.
This course is divided into six sections similar to the CS course in terms of duration and sections to be studied.

Our programs

Certified Secretaries ( CS)

This is a professional training program offered by KASNEB. It is tailored for both experienced and newly appointed or about to be appointed company secretaries. This does not limit the study to company secretaries alone but can as well be done by persons holding positions in governance structures and corporate conduct organizations.
This is because the course offers an opportunity to ensure that your organization complies with relevant legislation and regulation. It also trains on keeping board members informed of their legal responsibilities and be representatives on legal structures operating within the law which the organization is subjected to.
The course is divided into six sections of six months each. Every section has three units to be completed and in every completion of a section, one is certified by the Board of KASNEB.

CS. Sammy Ikingi

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya with over twenty years of post-qualification experience in providing company secretarial services to clients across diverse sectors. He has a wide experience in procedures relating to company secretarial support, corporate governance, insolvency, and restructuring. Exemptions from stamp duty, immigration, and business support services. He also served on the Professional Ethics and Standards Committee of ICPSK.

Mr. Bernard holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from JKUAT and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya with over ten years post qualification experience. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya. Bernard has been providing corporate services to major international companies with subsidiaries or branches registered in Kenya. He has considerable experience in issues dealing with human resource management and company secretarial services in addition to extensive experience in corporate governance, immigration, and licensing services.

Accounting Technician Diploma (ATD)

This is a professional program aimed at providing world-class credentials for talent development professionals in the corporate world. It helps validate your knowledge and skills in the talent development profession.

The qualification equips candidates with skills and competencies to work as middle level accountants providing technical support in accounting, auditing, and taxation in both the public and private sectors.

A person seeking to be registered as a student in this profession need attainment of a C+ in their Kenya Secondary Examination, two principal passes in Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education. 

The program has three levels each takes 6 months.

Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills ( CAMS)

The course aims at bridging the gap in lower-level accounting and management skills for the micro, small and medium enterprises sectors.  A person seeking to study must have a minimum of D+ in their KCSE. The course comprises two levels with four papers in level 1 and three papers in level 2 making it a total of seven papers. The program has 2 levels each takes 6 months.
